The Wardrobe
Finding your size.
Last updated · July 2026
Our garments are cut with a deliberate void between cloth and skin — the Air Gap. Measure your body, not a garment you already own, and let the ease do its work.
Body measurements
All measurements in centimetres. Measure over bare skin or light underlayers, standing relaxed — do not pull the tape tight.
| Size | Chest | Waist | Hip | Back length | Sleeve |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| XS | 86 – 89 | 71 – 74 | 91 – 94 | 64 | 41.5 |
| S | 91 – 96 | 76 – 81 | 96 – 101 | 65.5 | 43 |
| M | 99 – 104 | 84 – 89 | 104 – 109 | 67 | 44.5 |
| L | 107 – 112 | 91 – 97 | 112 – 117 | 68.5 | 46 |
| XL | 114 – 119 | 99 – 104 | 119 – 124 | 70 | 47.5 |
| XXL | 122 – 127 | 107 – 112 | 127 – 132 | 71.5 | 49 |
These are body measurements, not garment measurements. The finished garment is cut larger by the Air Gap of that piece.
The Air Gap
Every garment states its air gap — the engineered distance between fabric and skin, from 1.8 cm on the Anchor Jacket to 5.2 cm on the Meridian Robe. That space is already built into the cut. Do not size up for a looser fit; the ease is designed, and sizing up will simply drop the shoulder line.
How to measure
Chest
Around the fullest part of the chest, under the arms, tape level and parallel to the floor.
Waist
Around the natural waist — the narrowest point, roughly level with the navel. Breathe normally.
Hip
Around the fullest part of the seat, feet together.
Back length
From the bone at the base of the neck, straight down the spine to where you want the hem to fall.
Sleeve
From the shoulder point, down the slightly bent arm, to the wrist bone.
Between two sizes?
Take the smaller size for shirts and kurtas — the air gap is generous. Take the larger for outer layers such as the Canopy Overshirt or Anchor Jacket, which are meant to sit over another garment.
Or don’t use a size at all
Bespoke is cut to twenty-two measurements taken seated and standing, with the air gap calculated for your body and your climate. Twenty-one days, no size chart required. Begin bespoke →
